About Red Oak Design

Kyle Adamson, owner and landscape designer, was raised in Lexington and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Landscape Architecture. After graduation, he gained valuable experience working for design/build firms in Dallas, Atlanta and Charleston, SC. He returned to Lexington in 2001.

In 2011, he became the first Central Kentucky Lighting Professional to attain the Certified Low Voltage Lighting Technician (CLVLT) designation, which is administered by The Association of Outdoor Lighting Professional (AOLP).

Kyle has 20 years of experience and a passion for creating and illuminating unique landscapes. He enjoys developing new relationships with each client and takes a hands on approach to his projects, which range from intimate courtyards to large estates.
